About

I am a family physician based in Malaysia. I have been in clinical practice for over a decade, seeing patients across the full spectrum of primary care — from chronic disease management to acute illness, from young children to the elderly.

Outside the clinic, I trade on Bursa Malaysia. I started trading out of curiosity about how businesses worked, and it grew into a serious interest. The discipline required — sitting with uncertainty, sizing your bets, knowing when you are wrong — turns out to have a lot in common with medicine.

I started writing because I kept having conversations that deserved more space than a WhatsApp message. Questions like: why do doctors make poor financial decisions? How should a salaried professional think about investing? What does a decade of listening to patients teach you about how people actually behave?

This site is where I write those things out. The topics drift across medicine, markets, technology, and the occasional reflection on life. I try to write things that are worth reading twice, not just once.

If something I wrote was useful to you, I would genuinely like to know. The best way to reach me is on Twitter or Instagram.
